Product Description
Genuine carbon fibre flat sheet in a variety of sizes from A5 (148mm x 210mm) all the way up to full 2sqm sheets. The sheet is high gloss on one side and performance E-glass fabric on the reverse.
This 2mm sheet is a suitable replacement for 2mm aluminium panels such as the skuttle pan which have to take weight and resist stone chips from the underside. Also available is a 1mm carbon fibre sheet designed for lighter use (interior panels) to keep wieght to a minimum.
Composition:
- High gloss gel-coat surface
- 2/2 twill 3k carbon fibre fabric
- Woven glass fabric
- Total thickness 2mm (+/- 0.2mm)
Suggested Uses
The sheet is very tough and suited to a wide range of applications where a gloss carbon finish is only required on one side. The following list of suggested uses is just a small sample of the many products this high quality carbon fibre sheet could be used for.

Cutting, shaping and finishing
As with all carbon fibre and composites (like fibreglass, carbon kevlar etc) good results can be achieved for cutting, shaping and finishing this sheet using regular workshop tools like hacksaws, jigsaws and wet-and-dry. Specialist tools can, however, make lighter work of the job and produce better results.
