This bonnet vent is manufactured from aerospace grade pre-preg carbon fibre; it is temperature and chemical resistant. The carbon weave is 2/2 twill and gives the 3D effect not seen on carbon effect products. The stylish design is equally suited for use as a bonnet vent, scoop or roof duct.
It is designed to reduce engine bay temperatures by expelling the hot air heated by the radiator and engine.
- CAD designed to a high level of aerodynamic efficiency and incredibly light; in fact you will SAVE weight with one of these, as it is lighter than the section of bonnet that will be cut away!
- Can be mounted to the bonnet (or roof!) in a variety of ways from bonding (gluing) to bolting it down.
- As this already has a fantastic carbon finish there is no need to re-spray. Just fix it down.
- Although this is a fully functional vent, if you are only wanting the aesthetics there would be no need to cut into your bonnet.
