Referred to by many names including canards, whiskers and dive plates, this small aerodynamic enhancements to the nosecone of your kit-car can smooth airflow around obstructions like indicators and wishbones, reducing drag and improving the performance of your vehicle.
Installed as standard on the Caterham CSR, nosecone canards are now becoming a more common site on other high performance kit-cars.
Our Carbon Fibre Kit-Car Nosecone Canards are manufactured from genuine 2/2 twill, 3k carbon fibre using a sophisticated tooling process to produce a lightweight product of incredible strength with the unmistakable appearance of genuine carbon fibre on both faces.
Carbon Mods have been making and selling bumper canards for use on road and track going production vehicles long before they were first fitted to a Caterham CSR and as such can boast significant knowledge on their manufacture and installation.
Dimensions
The canards are designed to approximately the same dimensions as the OEM Caterham part and therefore measure 160mm x 55mm.

Fitting Instructions
The canards are designed to follow the original lines of the OEM part and as such fit in exactly the same way.
The canards can be attached to your nosecone by means of a flexible adhesive (such as black Sikaflex or Tigerseal) or by mechanical means such as rivet or Rawl Bolt in any position to suit the set-up of your car.
