Carbon Fibre Moulded Stone-Chip Guards for Dax

For the perfectionist kit-car builder, Carbon Mods now offer these Dax specific moulded stone-chip guards. Manufactured from genuine 100% pre-preg carbon fibre these stone-chip guards are a perfect fit for Dax rear arches (wide type).

Because these stone-chip guards are designed specifically for the Dax rear arches the fit is perfect and the installation is simple.

Having removed any previous stone-chip guards, peel or rub away any old Tigerseal or Sikaflex (if used) and ensure the surface of your rear arches is smooth to allow a flush fit of the new guards. Keep the smooth appearance of your new stone-chip guards by bonding rather than rivetting or screwing them into place.

When bonding the new wings to your arches it is important to spread the sealant thinly and evenly so that it will not slightly distort the arches in the way a zig-zag bead of sealant will.

Manufactured from genuine 100% pre-preg carbon fibre no glass or other reinforcement is used in these stone-chip guards.  The 2/2 twill weave fabric is a match for our full range of carbon fibre products and unlike many pre-preg carbon fibre products all Carbon Mods products have a high-gloss surface finish which is resistant to fading and discolouring.
