Designed to meet the most exacting standard of any carbon fibre sheet our Robotics Grade Carbon Fibre Sheet is manufactured from 100% pre-preg carbon fibre using the very best materials available.
Intended for use in robotics and R/C, this sheet is also suitable for any application where only the very best in strength and appearance will do.
We make no apologies for the high price of this sheet. Here's why:
- Multiple layers of the highest quality pre-preg carbon fibre go into every sheet.
- Both thicknesses use matched composition (symetrical each side) to ensure the sheet will stay true and won't warp.
- Special materials and processes ensure pin-hole free, flawless gloss on both sides.
- We use alternating alignment of the weave at 45 angles to provide incredible strength in all directions.
- Each sheet is hand finished and inspected.
At Carbon Mods we are not aware of anyone retailing a sheet of this quality. Radio controlled models, robotics and some bespoke applications demand a carbon fibre sheet of the higest strength and the best appearance and this is it.
Sheet Sizes
Our Robotics Grade Carbon Fibre Sheet is available is 3 thicknesses and 4 sizes:
Choose from 1mm, 1.5mm, and 2mm thick sheet; both thicknesses are double sided, high gloss and use exactly the construction method, the 2mm sheet simply having more layers of pre-preg carbon fibre in the core.
The sheet is available in standard sizes of A5 (148mm x 240mm), A4 (210mm x 297mm), A3 (297mm x 420mm) and a full sheet of 600mm x 600mm.
