This high temperature sheet wax is ideally suited for a wide range of tooling and mould making applications where a material thickness difference is needed between a pattern and a mould (for example if you wanted to make a snug fitting cover for a part) or a mould and another mould (if you were creating a ‘matched mould’).
The wax sheet has a very precise thickness, manufactured to precise tolerances and will maintain its thickness well as it is shaped around the contours of your pattern or mould.
As a high temperature sheetwax the wax itself will not melt under typical temperatures created by the exothermic reaction of casting or laminating resins, although it will melt at temperatures in excess of 126 degrees C allowing it to be melted away after the mould surface has cured. Where melting away is not possible, the sheetwax can be removed by scraping it from a mould or pattern’s surface using a plastic scraper.
The sheet wax itself is coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive on one side which makes it easy to stick to the mould or pattern as it is laid down.

Dimensions
The sheetwax is exactly 5mm thick making it suitable for use where you need to accommodate a material thickness of 1mm.
Sheets are 600mm x 305mm (12” x 24”) and are available in packs of 1, 2 or 4.
