In response to customer enquiries for a skinning kit designed specially for the skinning of an entire car bonnet/hood (or roof or boot) this kit includes a massive 1.6m x 1.25m (63&qout; x 49") peice of carbon fabric and all the basecoat, resin and other acillaries you will need to complete the job.
Use this kit to take your existing steel, aliminium or fibreglass bonnet/hood and cover it in 100% genuine carbon fibre. The end result will be a bonnet/hood that looks identical to one that is made completely of carbon fibre. Not similar, but EXACTLY THE SAME!

- Huge 1.25m x 1.6m roll of 2/2 twill 3k dry carbon fibre fabric
- 500g laminating epoxy resin base coat
- 1kg epoxy resin top coat
- 25g polishing compound
- 4 pairs Nitrile gloves, 4 mixing pots, 4 mixing sticks
- 2 x 2" laminating brush
- 2x 120, 240, 400, 800 & 1200 grit full sheets of wet and dry sand paper

What results can I expect?
All the materials, supplies and techniques supplied as part of the skinning kit are completely capable of producing a bonnet/hood that has been completely transformed into one that looks identical to an original carbon fibre bonnet. However, like any practical task (such as repairing a scratch or dent on your car or fitting a stereo) perseverance will be required to produce parts of the highest quality. As you gain skill and experience the quality of the parts will increase and the time taken to make them will decrease. Make sure you read, understand and follow the instructions provided with the kit.
