1500mm wide roll of Carbon Fibre Fabric 3k 2/2 Twill 195g/m2 for projects requiring a very large piece of carbon fabric. This huge 1500mm wide is specially woven for us to meet the specialist requirments of projects like skinning vehicle bonnets or roofs where a very wide piece of fabric is required to do the job in one span. Price is per linear meter. Please enter the quantity of linear metres you require. (1 linear meter of this roll will provide 1.5sqm of fabric).

This is the same top quality carbon fibre fabric that we use in our workshop every day and also the same fabric that is included in our best-selling carbon fibre lamination starter kit.

Please note: When purchased in multiples of a meter, the fabric will be supplied on a continuous roll, not in individual pieces.

IMPORTANT - International Shipping

All UK fabric orders will be shipped carefully wrapped around a tube and boxed. All international orders for more than one metre will also be shipped carefully wrapped around a tube and boxed however, due to the large size of the box required (and therefore high cost of shipping) international orders for a single metre of fabric will be shipped carefully folded into a box.

I used this product to skin out my wing mirror covers and it turned out well. The only thing I am not sure is if an adhesive spray be used instead of the resin to stick on the fabric. Therefore, the resin coatings can be applied. The reason being, if the resin coating process did not turn out well, I can try to remove the skin without damaging the part. Makd sense? Ivan (S'pore)
Carbon Mods Reply: Hi Ivan, I understand what you're saying. It is possible to make a removable 'skin' but the way to do it is to wax the part (before you start skinning) then follow the process exactly as we describe it but without using the coarse abrasive paper to scuff the part up first. Once you've finished the process the wax will ensure that the skin hasn't properly stuck to the part and can therefore be removed. If you then want to stick it on for good you can clean the wax off and then glue the skin on.

hi, i would like to cover my roof with this. i think that is possible? and also my mirrors? i know i need a piece of 1.5m x 2m in total then. but what and how many do i need for getting it on my roof and mirrors?..
Carbon Mods Reply: In addition to the fabric you'll need some skinning basecoat, some clear skinning top coat and maybe the ~~skinning ancillaries to get the job done.~~

Hey just wondering how long is this roll, is it only 59 inches??
Carbon Mods Reply: All our fabrics are sold by the metre. This means that however many units of quantity you buy (1,2,3 etc) we will make you a roll, to order, at that length. Therefore the roll can be as long as you choose.
