Direct replacement full rear wings for the Caterham 7 manufactured using 100% pre-preg carbon fibre construction.
These stunning carbon fibre arches will knock 1-2kgs off the weight of your car whilst at the same time adding more than just a splash of flawless pre-preg carbon fibre!
The rear wings are sold as a pair. The price shown is for a pair of rear arches (left and right). Replacement arches are available separately on request.
Compatibility
The wings follow the exact lines of the original Caterham parts with the exception that our arches are symmetrical; the left hand wing is NOT shorter than the right wing owing to the fact that many installations do not require the exhaust clearance that was once needed.
Suitable for: All Caterhams: S3, SV, CSR (Classic, Roadsport, Academy, Superlight, R300, R400, R500). The arches are the standard width and not a modified or alternative extra-wide version.
Technical Information
Multiple plies of pre-preg carbon fibre (up to 5 plies in places) are carefully cut and layered into the mould to provide maximum strength where it is needed whilst other areas are kept as light as possible. Our technology and expertise enables us to produce a set of arches weighing just 1.23kg (630g each!), nearly half the weight of wet-laid carbon/glass wings and nearly 1/3 of the weight of the OEM wings.
The pre-preg manufacturing technique used by Carbon Mods also eliminates the need for the tell-tale 'black band' of black gel-coat sometimes used to hide the difficult rolled edges and internal flange. These are arches for the perfectionist!
