High performance, release coated hi-shrink tape for composites use.
This composites shrink tape will contract by 10% when heated to 80 degrees C using a heat gun, very hot hair-dryer or when placed in an oven. The tape is release coated on one side ensuring that it will not stick to the resin of the part allowing it to be easilly removed once the part has cured.
This is the same shrink-tape that is used in our fishing pole repair kit and it is ideal for any manufacture or repair process where you need to consoldate a repair with considerable and even distributed pressure.
The tape is ideally suited to carbon fibre pole manufacture (where it is mandrel wound), pole repair (including fishing poles and rods), bike frame repairs and a range of similar applications.
